Types of Talents

（1）Outstanding talents

Requirements for candidates: no limit to the number of recruits;demonstrating strong academic leadership; acknowledged by peers both domestically and internationally for groundbreaking achievements and remarkable academic contributions in relevant field; possessing expertise in orchestrating and strategizing major scientific research endeavors, along with exceptional capability of analyzing significant strategic issues in economic and social development; exhibiting strategic scientists' planning ability in terms of discipline construction and research activities, and ability to lead relevant discipline groups to either reach or surpass domestic leading level and international advanced level.

（2）Discipline leading talents

Requirements for candidates: no limit to the number of recruits;possessing strong academic organizational capabilities; attaining influential academic achievements in relevant disciplines, either leading domestically or at the forefront globally; demonstrating active academic thinking and the ability to become a discipline leader in relevant fields; having creative ideas for discipline development and ability to lead the discipline to keep ahead of domestic peers and reach a domestic leading level and international advanced level.

（3）Academic leaders

Requirements for candidates: no limit to the number of recruits;demonstrating strong team organizational abilities; attaining important representative achievements in relevant direction of the discipline (specialty); showcasing good academic competitiveness and great development potential; possessing the capacity to devise effective strategies for discipline development and offer innovative ideas for discipline construction and academic research work.

（4）Excellent discipline talents

Requirements for candidates: no limit to the number of recruits;possessing strong academic ability and boasting influential representative achievements in relevant discipline; harboring innovative ideas for discipline construction; having the capability to sustain or elevate the discipline to the domestic advanced level. Generally, candidates should have at least two years of postdoctoral experience in renowned universities or research institutes, both domestically and internationally, along with experience of leading national-level scientific research projects. They should also have the potential to become national-level young talents. Newly hired personnel will sign an employment contract with the university guaranteeing a six-year period of employment, with the possibility of renewal upon meeting predetermined objectives.

Remuneration and Benefits
