Academician Wang Yaonan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor Liu Yong, a National-Level Talent from Zhejiang University, Visi

On the morning of October 18th, Professor Wang Yaonan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Professor at Hunan University, and Professor Liu Yong, a National-Level Talent from Zhejiang University, visited and offered guidance at the Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Robots at our university. Professor Luo Sihai, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Nanchang University, accompanied the visit.

During the visit, Professor Xiong Pengwen, Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Robots, Director of the Robotics Research Institute of Nanchang University, and Vice Dean of the Advanced Manufacturing Institute, provided a comprehensive report on the laboratory's development progress and operational achievements. After listening in detail to the reports on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the laboratory's development plan, Academician Wang Yaonan spoke highly of its research results. He pointed out that the field of intelligent robots could focus on pioneering application directions such as medicine and rehabilitation for sustained breakthroughs. He also encouraged faculty and students to delve deeply into specialized technological areas, strengthen the foundation of independent research, and integrate multidisciplinary resources to carry out cross-disciplinary innovation, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the intelligent robotics industry. Secretary Luo Sihai expressed sincere gratitude to Academician Wang Yaonan and Professor Liu Yong for their visit and guidance, earnestly requesting continued attention and support from the academicians and experts for the development of robotics disciplines at our university, and for injecting the momentum of Nanchang University into the advancement of robotics in Jiangxi Province.
