Vice President Wang Li Leads Delegation to Shandong for University-Enterprise Cooperation and Employment Expansion Activities

To thoroughly implement the national strategy on industry-education integration and further deepen university-enterprise collaboration, Nanchang University proactively engaged with the high-end medical device equipment industry. From October 15 to 16, Vice President Wang Li led a delegation to Shandong Province for specialized activities focused on university-enterprise cooperation projects and employment expansion. Chen Jia, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Advanced Manufacturing, accompanied the delegation.

During exchange seminars held at Haier Group and Weigao Group, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as industry-university-research collaborative innovation models, pathways for transforming scientific and technological achievements, and core talent needs of enterprises. Vice President Wang Li detailed Nanchang University’s research strengths and talent reserves in fields including medicine, materials science, advanced manufacturing technology, and high-end medical

device equipment. He emphasized that the university prioritizes serving national strategies and supporting industrial upgrading, committed to translating laboratory achievements into practical productivity that drives enterprise development.

Representatives from Haier Group and Weigao Group outlined their respective technological needs and talent gaps in areas such as high-end medical device R&D and intelligent equipment manufacturing. They highly acknowledged Nanchang University’s research capabilities and talent cultivation quality. Building on industry challenges and the university’s research strengths, both sides reached multiple consensuses on joint core technology攻关, innovative project development, talent cultivation, and student employment, laying a solid foundation for practical future cooperation.

This series of activities not only established a bridge for deep collaboration between Nanchang University and leading industry enterprises but also achieved precise alignment between university research resources and market demands. Moving forward, Nanchang University will continue to deepen the university-enterprise collaborative education mechanism. Through resource and mutually beneficial cooperation models, the university aims to enhance industry-education integration and collaborative innovation. This will contribute to supplying more high-quality professionals for the national high-end medical device equipment industry, broaden employment opportunities for graduates, and support high-quality regional economic development.
