Research Focus

Research in our group focuses on oral tribology of foods, friction and selflubricating materials, and atomicscale polishing. We maintain a positive and supportive team environment with productive mentorstudent relationships. The laboratory is equipped with modern facilities and advanced research instrumentation. Applications are welcome from students with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, materials science, instrumentation, physics, chemistry, or related disciplines.

Professional Profile

Earned a Ph.D. from the National Key Laboratory of High-end Equipment Interface Science and Technology (formerly the State Key Laboratory of Tribology) at Tsinghua University. Accumulated nearly four years of experience in science and technology management at a central state-owned enterprise. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Nanchang University.

Has led six research projects as Principal Investigator, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, provincial/ministerial-level programs, and industry-sponsored projects. Authored or corresponding-authored over 20 SCI-indexed papers, including more than 10 recognized as Top-Tier or Zone 1 journals by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Holds over 10 authorized patents and received one first-class award from a professional industry association.

Mentored graduate students in publishing SCI papers and achieving honors such as scholarships, Provincial Outstanding Thesis Awards, Nanchang University Outstanding Thesis Awards, and Nanchang University Outstanding Graduate recognitions. Teaches undergraduate courses including Mechanical Design and Mechanical Principles, and is a lead instructor for a National First-Class Undergraduate Course. Recipient of multiple Nanchang University Teaching Quality Excellence Awards, an Online Open Course Popularity Award, and recognition as a "Popular Course" on the Zhihuishu platform. Guided undergraduate students to win over 10 national-level competition awards. Published two teaching reform papers in Chinese core journals, co-edited two textbooks, and served as an Outstanding Undergraduate Class Advisor.
