Academic Appointments

Served as an expert in the China International Engineering Consulting Corporation's expert database, a communication reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, an evaluator for provincial-level science and technology projects in Jiangxi Province, Hunan Province, etc., and a reviewer for over twenty international journals.

Moreover, served as president of the Forging and Pressing Branch of the Jiangxi Provincial Society of Mechanical Engineering, secretary-general of the Jiangxi Provincial Forging and Pressing Association, vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Mold Industry Association, member of the Rare Earth Light Alloy Committee of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths, and young editorial board member of the journal Special Casting and Nonferrous Alloys.

Presided over more than 20 projects including three National Natural Science Foundation of China grants, Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, and industry-academia-research collaborations. Received one second prize of the Outstanding Achievements Award (Science and Technology Progress Award) of the Ministry of Education for Higher Education Institutions, one Second Prize in Jiangxi Provincial Technological Invention Award, one Second Prize in Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, two First Prizes in Jiangxi Provincial Higher Education Science and Technology Achievement Awards, and one Second Prize in Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award. Published over 80 papers in prestigious domestic and international academic journals including Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, Corrosion Science, and Materials Science & Engineering A, and holds 23 authorized national invention patents.
