Research Directions

The research interests focused on the development of optical instruments and the detection of photoelectric information. The aim is to explore component analysis spectroscopic instruments and three-dimensional imaging instruments that can be applied in environmental optics. Specific areas include:

(1) Remote monitoring of atmospheric CO2. Real-time monitoring of the concentration and distribution of CO2 gas in the atmosphere is achieved through the remote enhanced Raman spectroscopy technology.

(2) Real-time three-dimensional imaging of microalgae and algal bloom prediction. Through digital holographic microscopy imaging technology, real-time three-dimensional imaging of microalgae within the water samples monitored from Poyang Lake is achieved. Then, accurate identification and counting of the microalgae can be carried out, so as to predict the outbreak of algal blooms.

(3) Three-dimensional imaging of eye. The three-dimensional imaging of eye is achieved based on optical coherence tomography, so as to diagnose eye diseases.
