Major Research:

[1]. Intelligent Welding Technology: Conduct research on image sensing in welding processes, defect monitoring, and forming prediction of weld seam.

[2]. Advanced Welding Methods: Carry out research on ultrasonic spot welding of dissimilar metal thin sheets, focusing on interface microstructure and bonding mechanisms.

[3]. Superhydrophobic Coating Preparation: Develop preparation methods for superhydrophobic coatings, and investigate the micro-nano structures and hydrophobic properties of coatings.

Major Achievements

The team has long been engaged in research on intelligent welding technology, carrying out studies on welding process sensing, tracking, monitoring and welding technology, as well as the preparation of magnesium matrix composites and superhydrophobic coatings. It has presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, published more than 100 professional papers, obtained 8 authorized patents and software copyrights, and compiled and published the graduate textbook Welding Robot Tracking and Simulation Technology.
