Research Directions

The main research direction of this team focuses on the cross-disciplinary innovation and application of 3D printing technology and regenerative medicine, aiming to study 3D printing equipment, biomaterials and forming processes in the field of regenerative medicine. Specific areas include

1. Design and manufacture of new biological 3D printing equipment.

2. Preparation and characterization of intelligent biomaterials.

3. Efficient manufacturing of bionic tissues/organs.

Major Achievements

Dr. ZHOU has been engaged in research on bio-3D printing technology, biomaterials, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Recently, he has been in charge of or participated in more than ten national and provincial-level projects. and More than 30 papers have been published in important domestic and international journals such as ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Materials, Ceramics International, etc., and have been cited more than 900 times.
