Key Academic Achievements

Breakthrough progress has been achieved in the theory and technology of electromagnetic purification of aluminum melts. A new electromagnetic purification mechanism for fine inclusions in melts has been theoretically revealed, and a continuous purification method and device for aluminum melts have been invented and applied in industrial production.

The preparation device and industrial control technology for single-crystal copper, as well as the preparation technology for carbon anode materials of lithium-ion batteries, have also been developed, with the technologies successfully commercialized.

He has presided over 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as 18 provincial/ministerial-level projects and industry-academia collaboration projects. He has published more than 100 academic papers, among which over 70 are SCI-indexed papers with him as the first author or corresponding author. More than 10 invention patents have been authorized.
