Research Directions

My research work is primarily devoted to the basic and applied studies on photothermal radiation characteristics and coupled heat transfer. It focuses on the mechanisms and numerical calculation methods of radiation transfer, infrared radiation characteristics of targets, high-temperature flame temperature measurement, and optimization algorithms for radiative inverse problems. Relevant research efforts include numerical simulations and experimental studies covering: coupled radiative heat transfer in high-temperature combustors of aero-engines, inversion of three-dimensional temperature and concentration fields of high-temperature flames, calculation of infrared radiation characteristics of engine exhaust plumes and aircraft skins, as well as measurement of photothermal radiation characteristics of translucent medium materials.

Major Achievements

Long-term research efforts have focused on photothermal radiation transfer and coupled heat transfer, infrared radiation characteristics of targets, radiative inverse problems and optimization methods, and combustion flame temperature measurement. In recent years, 4 national and provincial-ministerial level projects have been presided over, including the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. A total of more than 30 SCI/EI indexed papers have been published, among which 18 are authored as the first or corresponding author, with participation in the compilation of 1 monograph. More than 20 invention patents have been filed (12 authorized) and 6 software copyrights obtained. In addition, the First-Class Provincial Technological Invention Award of Heilongjiang Province has been conferred (Ranked 7th).
