Jiangxi Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Manufacturing Informatization

Introduction

As a provincial-level scientific research platform relying on Nanchang University, the Jiangxi Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Manufacturing Informatization is affiliated to the discipline system of Mechanical Engineering. Focusing on the R&D of manufacturing informatization technology, the center covers research fields such as digital and intelligent manufacturing, intelligent design of complex equipment, robot technology application, hydrogen fuel cell design and application, and medical image processing. It has undertaken a number of national-level scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the "863 Program".

Talent Team

The research center has a high-level scientific research team of more than 20 members, including 4 professors/senior engineers, 7 associate professors/senior engineers, 14 researchers with doctoral degrees, 2 recipients of provincial and ministerial-level talent programs, and 2 part-time technical experts from enterprises.

Core members of the team have rich scientific research and engineering experience in the field of manufacturing informatization. Many of them hold academic positions in the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and authoritative journals at home and abroad, and have established extensive cooperative relations with well-known universities and enterprises at home and abroad.

Scientific Research and Platform Construction

The center is equipped with advanced scientific research facilities, with the original value of scientific instruments and equipment exceeding 10 million yuan. The main equipment includes: server cluster platform, mechanical testing platform and system, fatigue analysis system and other advanced equipment and platforms. Since its establishment, the center has achieved a series of important scientific research results: undertaking more than 10 national-level scientific research projects, more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and more than 20 horizontal projects with enterprises; winning 2 scientific and technological awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level; obtaining more than 30 authorized invention patents; publishing more than 100 papers included in SCI/EI; achieving remarkable results in achievement transformation, creating economic benefits exceeding 5 billion yuan.
